Why this trip
A city that grew out of the ground only a few years ago has the advantage of being geared to groups: Lusail, north of Doha, is planned, spacious and modern. For teams who value order and novelty, that suits. The Lusail Marina Promenade offers an evening walk by the water, and the Trocadero Theme Park gives the programme a relaxed side. The lettering of the I Love Lusail Statue and the I Love Qatar Sign are popular photo spots for groups.
This yields a day that separates work and leisure. As accommodation, the catalogue names the Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail and the Raffles Doha. Doha, Al Wakrah and Al Khor are nearby neighbours. The travel season lies between November and April, and the flight time is approx.
6 hrs. Anyone who wants to hold a meeting in Qatar can keep hotel and programme close together in Lusail. Corporate puts together journey, conference room and supporting programme in a quote and names a point of contact.
