Day by day

Day 1: Arrival in Bali. Tanah Lot is a temple on a rock in the sea, reachable on foot at low tide. At sunset the path along the shore fills up. For the arrival day a short walk along the coast suits, with a drink and a view of the waves. Keep children by the hand, as rocks are slippery.

Afterwards you drive to Ubud to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. The macaques are bold, so close bags, show nothing edible and keep your distance. It is better to carry small children.

Day 3: Uluwatu Temple. In front of Pura Ulun Danu Beratan on the lake in the mountains the gardens are well kept, you can hire boats, and sometimes animals appear for photos. The air is cool. Day 7: Farewell to Bali. Blue Lagoon Snorkeling lies near Padang Bai in a calm bay, where you see fish right at the shore. Children in life jackets swim their first laps, and you keep watch from the beach. Afterwards you pack and drive to the airport, which is a longer route from the east coast, so plan generously.
