Why this trip
The wooden Chapel Bridge, the lake ringed by Alps and Pilatus and Rigi in the background: Lucerne is Switzerland as guests from all over the world expect it, and yet lively. For a company event in your own country it is a rewarding place. On the Spreuer Bridge the group walks on foot into the old town, and the Bourbaki Panorama gives the programme history. From the Panorama Terrace the team looks over city and lake, and the Nadelwehr, known as the Lucerne Needle Dam, shows engineering skill.
In the evening a trip on the lake suggests itself. As accommodation, the catalogue names the Hotel Vitznauerhof and the Grand Hotel National Luzern. Engelberg, Zurich and Andermatt are nearby neighbours. From June to September is the travel season for summer events.
Because Lucerne lies in Switzerland, entry formalities do not apply, and the journey by rail is simple. Corporate arranges conference, excursion and dinner in a schedule accompanied by a fixed point of contact.
