Overview
The sea in Croatia is clear, shallow and warm: exactly what families with children are looking for. May and June as well as September and October are especially suitable, because Dubrovnik, Hvar and Split become very crowded in July and August and children tire quickly in crowds. Dubrovnik has a walk along its city walls that feels like a knight's castle to children, and the old town can be covered on foot.
