Why this trip
An island like Serengeti thrives on seclusion, so we plan the trip to keep changes after your arrival to a minimum and leave you the stillness of the place to yourself. In Serengeti in Tansania, we work out with you how much privacy you want, from a quiet stretch of beach to accommodation that sits as much as possible on its own, and choose accordingly. Around Serengeti-Nationalpark, Seronera and Serengeti Visitor's Centre, days can alternate between beach, water and calm without you having to keep to a schedule, and excursions remain optional.
Getting to an island like Serengeti often involves several legs, such as a flight, a boat or a seaplane, and we plan the connections with buffers so that you arrive without haste. We talk with you on a video call about your expectations of seclusion, because anyone seeking calm in Serengeti needs different planning from someone who also wants excursions or water sports. For families and couples in Serengeti, we clarify meals, healthcare and excursion options in advance, so that seclusion does not become a limitation but stays planned.
