Why this trip
A palm that bears a nut shaped like a heart: the Coco de Mer grows only in the Seychelles, and in Praslin National Park you can meet it in a forest where it is at home. Praslin is one of the islands you visit for a single idea and keep for the beaches. Fond Ferdinand offers guided paths through the jungle with native vegetation, and in Praslin National Park you hear birds that exist nowhere else. Petite Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette are among the beaches that are often named when the Seychelles are mentioned.
Anse Volbert is a long, calm strip that is suited to walks in the morning. If you dive, you find dive providers nearby on Praslin. April to May and October to November are the quiet transitional seasons. La Digue lies nearby as a neighbouring island, and the change there is a day trip or a stay.
For the occasion of a honeymoon, more time on one island is worthwhile than two stops. Once in a Lifetime arranges this with you in the video call.
