Why this trip

Below the Santa Bárbara castle, a send-off begins in Alicante that almost arranges itself: first the climb with a view over the city, then the palm-lined Explanada promenade, then the beach. The distances are short, which keeps a group together. During the day the Costa Blanca offers room for water sports and boat trips along the coast. In the afternoon the group sits in the old town, the Barrio de Santa Cruz, where narrow lanes and white houses set the scene for tapas.

In the evening many head for the bars of the old town, without having to change city. After the climb to the castle it is worth stopping at one of the viewpoints, followed by a long lunch at which the group decides the evening's programme together. If you want to widen the programme, Valencia, Ibiza or Palma de Mallorca are within reach as neighbours, but for a long weekend Alicante is enough on its own. April to June and September to October bring warmth without the heat of high summer.

Bachelor Trips plans the schedule according to group size in a video call with you.
