Why this trip

Between Albania and the Greek mainland lies an island that unites Venetian lanes, British traces and green hills in a small space. Corfu suits travellers who value character and not just sunbeds. In the old town of Corfu Town you meet the Admiral Ushakov monument, the Serbian Museum and the house associated with the naturalist Gerald Durrell, whose stories made the island world-famous. Such places are easy to visit in small time windows, best early in the day, when it is quiet and the heat is still far off.

Anyone who wants to combine Corfu with other destinations looks at Zakynthos, Thessaloniki, Athens or Mykonos. Whether the change is worthwhile can be weighed honestly, because often a single place brings more calm than two. The travel period is in May and June as well as September and October, and the flight takes about 2.5 to 3 hours. Planning is done by video call and tailored to you.

A boat for the coast north of the town can also be arranged privately.
