Why this trip
One of the longest halfpipes in the world lies in Graubünden, and it has made Laax a centre for freestyle and snowboarding. But anyone who looks closer discovers a resort that also convinces demanding guests with clean lines, spa and good cuisine. The Flims Laax Falera area can be reached quickly with mountain railways such as the Mutta Rodunda station or the Arena Express Scansinas. For your stay, houses such as the La Val Hotel & Spa, the Rocksresort, the signinahotel and the Hotel Laaxerhof are on offer.
They differ in style and closeness to the piste, which should decide the choice. Anyone who wants to combine the region looks at Arosa, Davos, Andermatt or St. Moritz. June to September is considered the travel period, when hikes and quiet days on the mountain are possible.
Whether you seek activity or retreat is clarified in the conversation by video call, and the framework follows from it. A private ski instructor for the first day can also be reserved in advance.
