Why this trip

The bay of Nice is azure blue, and the Promenade des Anglais invites you to walk, but the appeal lies in the details: a market in the morning, a glass of wine on the hillside, a view over the rooftops. The Castle Hill offers a view and the waterfall there, the Promenade Paillon links fountains and greenery as far as the Sun Fountain. With a tour of the French Riviera you reach coastal towns and hinterland, and the Mercantour National Park lies in the hinterland for hikes. As houses in the surroundings, the following are on offer: the Château de La Chèvre d'Or, La Réserve de Beaulieu, the Hôtel Lily of the Valley and the Hôtel Lou Pinet.

Anyone who wants to travel in winter combines Nice with Alpe d'Huez, Val Thorens, Val d'Isère or Courchevel. For the coast, May and June as well as September and October are recommended. Whether you would like to stay in the city or on a quieter stretch of coast is settled in advance, and transfers run without waiting times.
