Why this trip
Beach and city in one: Palma de Mallorca combines two rhythms that otherwise need separate trips. By day the water belongs to the group, in the evening the old town around La Seu cathedral and the Santa Catalina scene district, where bars, markets and tapas lie close together. For active programme items, the island offers golf courses, such as Son Gual and Son Quint, which give even beginners a format for a tournament among friends. If you want variety, ride the historic Ferrocarril de Sóller through the mountains or swim at Cala Major and Cala Millor.
The Playa de Palma lies only minutes away and suits a beach day with an evening kick-off. From Switzerland the flight takes about 2 hours, and entry is visa-free (Schengen). April to June and September to October are regarded as the best travel time. Hotels such as the Grand Hotel Son Net and the Hotel de Mar Gran Meliá, an adults-only house, show the range of accommodation.
For the programme Bachelor Trips supports in a video call and plans a weekend that works for everyone.
