Why this trip

Rotterdam is the city where the Netherlands stops looking like a postcard and starts looking like the future. Instead of canals and gables, architecture, harbour and skyline shape the picture, which for a group that wants to experience something new is a good argument. The Erasmus Bridge connects both banks and serves as a meeting point for the first photo. The Oudehaven offers terraces with a view of historic ships, a place for the kick-off in the evening.

If you want to plan an excursion, drive to Kinderdijk to the windmills of the World Heritage site, a calm counterweight to a lively evening. For activities with pace there are parks in the surrounding area such as the Plaswijckpark, if the group wants room to let off steam. April to September is the best time, the days are long, and the city lives outdoors. Accommodation is provided by houses such as the Rotterdam Marriott or the Room Mate Bruno, and the Morgan & Mees as a boutique hotel.

The Hague, Utrecht and Amsterdam can be reached in a short time. Bachelor Trips plans routes and times by video call according to the size of the group.
