Why this trip
Venetian lanes, a fortress hill and water in every direction: Corfu combines town and island in a small space. The old town of Corfu Town is a place for strolls with the group, and the beaches are not far. If you like literature, follow in the footsteps of Gerald Durrell, who immortalised Corfu in his books. The Serbian Museum and monuments such as the one for Admiral Ushakov bring history into the day.
If you would rather have water, hire a boat and travel along the coast. Anyone who prefers to go to bed early and get up early has an advantage here: the island suits groups who want to use the day better than those who seek the night. In the evening the group sits on the Esplanade or in a taverna, and the evening ends early enough to be fit the next day. Zakynthos, Thessaloniki, Athens and Mykonos are neighbours.
The flight takes about 2.5 to 3 hours, and the best time is May to June or September to October. Bachelor Trips plans with you in a video call how calm or lively the days become.
