Why this trip
Lying between Naxos and Mykonos, Paros offers a send-off with character: fishing harbour, lanes with bougainvillea and beaches where the wind provides variety. Anyone who combines calm by day and life in the evening finds here the middle path between party island and retreat. Archaeologically there is quite a lot to discover: the Delion as an open-air sanctuary, an ancient mosaic and the church of Ekatontapiliani, listed in Greek as Τρεις Εκκλησίες. For a group this is a short cultural programme that clears the head again after the late breakfast.
In the evening the activity shifts to the harbour towns, which remain reachable on foot. May to June and September to October are the months in which the island feels warm and not overcrowded. Flight time from Switzerland: about 2.5 to 3 hours, entry visa-free (Schengen). If you have more than a weekend, combine with Naxos, Mykonos or Santorini.
Bachelor Trips settles ferry, accommodation and evening programme in a video call, so that the best man only has to confirm times.
