Why this trip
Sand, rock and blue water: Zakynthos stands for a beach send-off that lives on boat trips and bays. The island in the Ionian Sea offers the group what a weekend needs: space by the water and a main town in which the evening takes place. Zakynthos Town shows itself with Venetian remains such as the Grimani Bastion and the powder magazine, which allow a short walk. On the square by the harbour stands the church of Sotiras, in front of which the group takes its first coffee.
By day the coast belongs to the boats: anyone who wants to see the caves and bays books a tour for the whole group. In the evening the places in the south, such as Laganas, attract visitors who prefer to celebrate among many. May to June and September to October provide the best window for weather and water. The flight from Switzerland takes about 2.5 to 3 hours, and entry is visa-free (Schengen).
Corfu, Athens and Thessaloniki lie as the nearest destinations. In a video call Bachelor Trips plans boat, accommodation and evening programme so that the group stays together and nobody has to set off alone.
