Behind the coast of Marbella rises a mountain that most guests never climb: the Sierra Blanca with the summit La Concha. The path up leads through pine forest and over rock, with views as far as Africa on clear days, and it demands fitness and sturdy footwear. For active travellers that is the reason to stay here longer than for a beach day. The coast itself offers paths along the promenade, from Puerto Banús into the old town with its flowered lanes, a walk that combines well with swimming and water sports.
If you prefer to be on the water, paddle along the beaches or book a boat tour. Between April and June and in September to October temperatures are pleasant for hiking. In high summer only the early morning hours remain. The flight time is approx.
